The Week that Was

What a week it was. I am just catching my breath now after a whirlwind week of greeting commuters, delivering my stump speech to voters, and campaigning across the city.

I was lucky enough to visit my mom-mom to wish her a happy 93rd birthday and watch her kvell as her grandson spoke before her apartment complex community group in the Northeast. I got to paint the town red with the Phillie Phanatic and my Budget Bulldog in Rittenhouse Square. I participated in a Spring clean-up in East Falls. All told, I had a few dozen events on my calendar before my campaign team told me to hit the showers. My campaign website -- www.brettmandel.com -- has pictures of some of the highlights.

I am already excited to start next week as I get to celebrate the beginning of baseball season with the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park for Opening Day (I guess it is Opening Night). Go Phillies!
